Car Wash
The car wash held in the car park of Springbank Evangelical Church on Saturday 19th November was a great success. The youth team worked hard with buckets, sponges, vacuum cleaners and a hose pipe to wash all that Campbeltown dirt away. Costing between £3.00 and £5.00, it was a bargain! We raised the fantastic sum of £132.00. Many thanks are due to the hard work of all who were involved, especially Sian, the Youth Group leader.
Youth Group
Springbank Church Youth Group is currently being led by Sian Galbraith. Sian has had experience in leading a Church Youth Group during her time in New Zealand.
Skiing Trip
The Youth Group have just returned from their skiing trip from 16th to 20th February to the 'Compass Ski Centre in Glenshee. Pics and report later!!! On Saturday 4th February, they went to practice their skills on the artificial slope at Kilbowie in Oban. Enjoy the pics shown above.
Coffee Morning
On Saturday 12th November, our Youth Group led a very successful Coffee Morning, where the members served coffee, sold delicious home baking and talked to visitors. The money raised by this event was a fantastic £332.00 and will be used to fund their own events that they are currently planning.
Well done to all who helped make this a success. The youth were a credit to our Lord Jesus Christ.
